Andrés Gascón Cuenca, Ph.D., in Law (extraordinary doctoral award 2018), and graduated in Law, has a Master’s Degree in Human Rights, Democracy and International Justice and a postgraduate diploma in Immigration Integration and Rights. He is currently a professor in the Department of Philosophy of Law and Politics of the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia and the Co-Director of the Legal Clinic for Social Justice of the Faculty of Dret of the University of Valencia (uv.es/clinica). In addition, he is the secretary of the publication Cuadernos Electrónicos de Filosofía del Derecho (cefd.uv.es), member of the Editorial Board of the Anuario de Filosofía del Derecho and an elected representative of the Global Alliance for Justice in Education (GAJE). His main research areas are: ethnic and racial discrimination, freedom of expression, hate speech, minority rights, among others.
